It's (a couple days after) Saturday, which marks the end of another week spent looking up at actual successful filmmakers with longing, envy, and scorn. Here are some important stories of this week in the film world, or at least some we found noteworthy.
Yes, we have our very own in-house greenscreen. Here it is, operating on the set of Dissent TV (working title) The Dissident. It's got some design flaws, so using it requires a good sense for improvised engineering or, lacking that, superhuman strength. We'll tell you how you can build your own, along with what kinds of trouble ours has presented. We'll also shed some light on the dominant role that greenscreens play in all the television you watch.
